Often vacations are meticulously planned. You want every detail to be fun and interesting. Ask people who traveling from So Cal to Las Vegas why they go to the entertainment capital of the world and the answers will be gambling, shows, nightlife, conventions, etc. Chances are few are going to say “we are going to Vegas for Thanksgiving”. More people should go to Las Vegas for thanksgiving and here are just a few reasons why.

First of all as I write this two days before Thanksgiving the weather is 72 degrees and clear; Thanksgiving Day is scheduled for 75 degrees. This time of year the majority of the nation will not see this kind of weather for another four months. How great would it be to work up an appetite before Thanksgiving dinner by playing a round of golf at a world class golf course?

This is Masters Week making it the most exciting time of the year for golf enthusiasts.  Now is a great opportunity to remind golf fans of what a great golf destination Las Vegas is. Very few people get the pleasure of playing Augusta National, but everyone can play the excellent golf courses in Southern Nevada. All golf fans that are sitting around the television for four days wondering if Tiger Woods will ever win again should travel to Las Vegas and actually play golf instead of watching golf. Especially the people who can travel from L A to Vegas.
