Ask people who traveling from So Cal to Las Vegas why they go to the entertainment capital of the world and the answers will be gambling, shows, nightlife, conventions, etc. Chances are few are going to say “we are going to Vegas for Thanksgiving”. More people should go to Las Vegas for thanksgiving and here are just a few reasons why.

First of all as I write this two days before Thanksgiving the weather is 72 degrees and clear; Thanksgiving Day is scheduled for 75 degrees. This time of year the majority of the nation will not see this kind of weather for another four months. How great would it be to work up an appetite before Thanksgiving dinner by playing a round of golf at a world class golf course?

There are three parties a year in this country everyone should attend at least once in their life. New Years Eve in Time Square, Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Halloween in Las Vegas. Being late October we will give you our recommendations for the best Vegas Halloween parties.

There is a lot of reasons to go to Las Vegas, but when it comes to Halloween, it is a don’t miss!

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer. Tourist traveling from So Cal to Las Vegas have another something else to do at the Entertainment Capital of the World; going to the pool.
A couple of decades ago Las Vegas went to the family themed resorts. It took about seven years for Las Vegas to understand that once Sin City…. always Sin City. The resorts reverted back to adult themes and the kids were once again left at home with grandma and grandpa.

Living in Southern California there is always something to do. One day you can go to Universal Studios or the San Diego Zoo. Another day maybe it could be Disneyland or the Santa Monica Pier. All are fun things to do, but there is one problem; being spread out in Southern California realistically you can only do one thing in a day. That is why going to Las Vegas is the thing to do.

Gambling is the first thing that most people think of when it comes to Las Vegas. Everyone pictures themselves on a roll at a craps table at Caesars Palace; dice in one hand and a buxom blond in the other. It can’t get any better than that….or can it?
