Vegas X Train
The Bellagio Fountains
By Mick Bailey
Las Vegas is the entertainment Capital of the World. Visitors come from So Cal by the millions to enjoy the gambling, shows, sporting events, shopping, world class restaurants, pool parties and a fantastic nightlife. When people think of Las Vegas, partying and gambling are the first things to come to mind. Many of these visitors find even more, namely romance.

Couples can find romance in an authentic Venetian gondola as they glide down the Grand Canal at the Venetian Las Vegas. A romantic dinner for two can be enjoyed 800 feet above the Las Vegas Strip at the Top of the World revolving restaurant at the Stratosphere Tower. Stunning imagery and romantic Beatles ballads makes Love Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage the Las Vegas show for sweethearts.

Christmas at the Bellagio

Santa has his biggest day of the year on Christmas. He is loading up his sleigh and hitching up his team of reindeer for his trip around the world, delivering presents and good cheer to all children with only cookies and milk in return. Given the choice Santa would prefer to spend Christmas in Las Vegas and here is why.

First of all Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of The World and who would not want to be there? Holiday spirit is everywhere on the Las Vegas Strip. All the mega resorts have their Christmas décor up and they try to outdo each other. The most spectacular is Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The Bellagio changes the Garden’s décor for each of the four seasons so it is a must see any time of the year.

Las Vegas Strip

Living in Southern California there is always something to do. One day you can go to Universal Studios or the San Diego Zoo. Another day maybe it could be Disneyland or the Santa Monica Pier. All are fun things to do, but there is one problem; being spread out in Southern California realistically you can only do one thing in a day. That is why going to Las Vegas is the thing to do.

Gambling is the first thing that most people think of when it comes to Las Vegas. Everyone pictures themselves on a roll at a craps table at Caesars Palace; dice in one hand and a buxom blond in the other. It can’t get any better than that….or can it?
